    Research Focus

Diagnostic fluoroscopy has previously only been available at veterinary teaching institutions due to the expense of the equipment. Recently, the increase in interest in veterinary interventional radiology has resulted in a flurry of installations of fluoroscopic units in specialty and private practices. This has inadvertently resulted in developing interest in diagnostic uses for this equipment. My research focuses on the application of diagnostic fluoroscopy for functional diseases of swallowing and respiration. I am specifically interested in advancing knowledge and defining limitations of the use of diagnostic fluoroscopy in veterinary patients.
